PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Rutland Sports Park in Ilkeston has undergone a major transformation with the installation of a cutting edge 3G pitch. This ambitious project, initiated in July 2024 and completed in just 3 months to coincide with the new football season, marks a significant upgrade from the previous sand based surface. A fully FIFA compliant, modern facility was designed, procured and delivered by PPM in collaboration with Parkwood Leisure and Erewash Borough Council. Officially opened by the Mayor of Erewash, Kate Fennelly, the project is a testament to Parkwoods commitment to providing state of the art leisure facilities for centre users and local communities.
